Great stuff: Joe Ely and his band performing a damn-near 20 minute rendition of “Letter to L.A.” at their New Years Eve show last December in Austin. Between the sax solo & the guitar solo, this is a killer performance. Part 2 available here.

The 100 Fake Bands of Sonny Smith.

Village Voice piece on the “100 Records” project. Sonny Smith is truly a multi-talented individual. This exhibit looks real neat…hope to make it up to Williamsburg before it leaves.

Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival 2010 lineup has been announced.

And it’s excellent. Can’t wait.

Haven’t updated in a while. Sorry about that.

But I have been posting at my summer photo blog, Shots of the Shore. Check it out.
